124 1 ASHFORD, W G, BIRMINGHAM: A circa 1896 straight blade putter with Ashford's elusive "Fore" Flags in an oval mark. The four flags mark is as bold as any I've seen and is quite scarce as Georgiady does not list an example in the "2000 Value Guide", but discusses the "Fore" Flags mark in the "Compendium of British Clubmakers". This example has some rust, but is essentially MINT. G-8 $195

124 8 PARK, WILLIE, MUSSELBURGH, SCOTLAND: "Patent" and a partial "Wm Park" mark on a circa 1900 bent neck blade Putter. Shaft and grip are replacements. Head is rusted. G-4 $90
124 9 SPALDING, DYSART, FIFE, SCOTLAND A "Wry Neck Putter" having an alternating hyphen and dot punched face. "Dysart-Fife" and the "Anvil" mark on the back. Original shaft, replaced grip. G-7 $75

124 12 UNKNOWN MAKER: A nice circa 1900-1910 smooth, deep face blade with two four leaf clovers (not Spalding's) at heel and toe and a large thistle inside an oval with "Thistle" in block lettering. G-7 $90.
124 13 WHITING, SAM, ILKLEY: A circa late Teens dot punched off set blade stamped "Wry Neck Putter" and "Sam Whiting, Ilkley". The original shaft is ringed hickory with a nice wrapped leather grip. G-6 $80
ALUMINUM "MILLS" TYPE MALLET PUTTERS
124 14 CANN & TAYLOR, LONDON, ENGLAND: A "Mills" type aluminum head with "Model 'F'" and "10.14", signifying the weight in ounces, on the bottom. "J H Taylor, Reg. # 607239" is stamped above and below the unusual raised "sight" line on the head. There is a chip out of the hosel and a crack to the hosel pin on one side. Head and stampings are good, hosel is the only problem. G-5 $175.
124 15 CASSIDY, J L, ALDBURGH: An aluminum head mallet Putter with a raised "V" sightline. The hosel is sound. The grip is a replacement wrapped leather. A scarce Patented Putter circa 1915-20. G-7 $115 PUTTERS MADE IN AMERICA
124 16 HILLERICH & BRADSBY, LOUISVILLE, KY: "Par-X-L" flanged back "#80 Putter" with the "Arm & Hammer Hand Made" mark at the toe. This ladies putter has Stag-Dot face scoring. All original. G-7 $75.

124 18 MACGREGOR, DAYTON, OH: A nice GEM style "Popular" Putter with large dots punched into the shallow face. Original stamped shaft with a play grip. Would make a good play putter. G-7 $65
124 19 SPALDING, USA: An outstanding "Gold Medal 1" off set hosel putter with random dot punched face scoring. Original stamped shaft with a replacement grip. G-8 $70

124 21 SPALDING, USA: "F W A" are the only markings on this Willie Park style bent neck Putter most likely made by Spalding circa 1900. Grip is a replacement. G-7. $95.00
124 22 SPALDING, USA: "The Spalding" on head and shaft of a circa 1898-1900 severely bent neck Park style Putter. Grip is a period type replacement. Shaft is a little short as made. Many players used a wide stance while bending and requested shorter shafts. G-6 $75
124 24 UNKNOWN MAKER: "1932" stamped on the toe of an otherwise unmarked two way blade Putter with five deep lines in the center of both sides. Most likely used for Putt-Putt or miniature golf. G-7 $75

124 103 UNKNOWN MAKER: A nice circa 1890-1895 Lofter stamped "Scotsman" in small block letters on the back. The Hickory shaft is very thin and has an interesting "spindle" shape where it enters the hosel. Shaft has either been shortened or originally made for a lady. Quite scarce and not listed in Georgiady's 1998 Value Guide. G-7 $195
124 104 UNKNOWN MAKER: A smooth face Cleek with a long shallow blade that looks pre-1870. No visible stampings can be found on the back. The shaft and grip are originals. G-7 $325
124 105 UNKNOWN MAKER: A circa 1870-1880 slightly dished face, hooked face Lofting Iron in the John Gray style. The early replacement shaft is stamped "E M C McDoland" below a period type replacement grip. A nice early iron. G-6 $390
