Pear wood 1/8 X 1/8 X 36" long. $3.85 each.
Pear wood is an off-white; sort of very light tan in color, and is almost indistinguishable from boxwood. Not quite as white as holly, but whiter and softer than maple. Pear wood has very small pores with a very fine texture. Used as stringing inlay on many European pieces.
The 1/8 X 1/8 dimensions are plus or minus .005", so it is very close.
