Shaded Fans!
These fan inlays are hand-made, by me here in the USA, using extra thick (.040) veneer. The maple segments are heat-sand-shaded.
The dark segments consist of thick, black-dyed or walnut veneer, and the white band is a strip of holly stringing.
They are very thick at approximately .040", double the thickness of most commercial fans you may find for sale elsewhere. These are approximately 1-3/8" radius -
you can see the actual size on the green background where the squares are 1/2" wide with 1/8" gradations.
If you need a different size, I can custom make them for you at a similar price.
I do keep the corner fans in stock. Half-round, round or oval fans must be custom ordered.

Non-shaded fans - made from solid walnut and holly - 1-1/2" radius.
These are made from solid wood, glued-up in a small block, then sliced off the block.
This yields a thick and rigid inlay - much thicker and rigid - not flexible like veneer, making them easy to handle and inlay.
Thickness varies from about 1/24 to 1/16"
