All Black - may have some slight gray streaking, but all black for the most part, and will finish very black. Surface-sanded smooth on both sides - extra choice pieces. Genuine Ebony will be clear and dry - without knots, splits or other defects unless noted. This is all high-quality, hand-picked stock.
