Small oak keepsake box with bloodwood and walnut inlay banding. The center of the top is maple burl and the 8 splines on the sides are holly. The box is constructed as a closed unit, then the top is cut off the bottom ensuring an exact fit and maintaining the wood grain pattern. The top is friction fit with a near air-tight inside compartment, measuring approximately 5-1/2 X 2-1/2 X 1" deep. Overall dimensions are about 7 X 4 X 2. This is an oak box that will stand the test of time. The joints are solid and will not separate over time. Guaranteed not to warp or twist. A solid box! This box and all inlays made in my shop in North Carolina.
