Banding 23 - Black line spalted maple. This banding is solid with no punky wood, but it is a bit pourus and will require sealing.
Seal with shellac, or several coats of your choice of finish.
Pieces vary slightly, some with more intense spalting, but all look pretty much the same when finished.
